The 2026 general election are prepared, therefore,INEC are to statrt employing qualified applicants to support electoral management, voter registration, election logistics, and other 2026 general electoral activities.

INEC recruitment 2026 exercise is ongoing according to below categories:

1. Professional Cadre (Grade Levels 09, 10 and 12)

This category includes qualified professionals such as:

2. Administrative Officer II (Registration Area Officer)

General Requirements

To be qualify for the INEC Recruitment 2026 exercise, applicants must:

• Be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
• Present a valid Certificate of State of Origin signed by the appropriate local government authority.
• Computer literate.
• Be medically fit for employment.
• Be 35 years old or below at the time of application.
• Have good character and no criminal conviction.

• Demonstrate integrity, discipline, and commitment to public service.

Basic Requirements 

1. Educational Qualifications

All applicants must possess the qualifications for the position prepared to apply for.

a. Professional Cadre

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Master’s Degree in the relevant field.
• Relevant professional certifications where applicable (NBA, MDCN, COREN, NSE, ICAN, ANAN and related professional bodies).
• NYSC Discharge Certificate Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion.
• Practical knowledge of the relevant profession.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  Good computer knowledge.

b. Administrative Officer II

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelors Degree or Higher National Diploma from a recognized institution.
•  Discharged NYSC Certificate, Exemption letter.
• Good knowledge of record keeping and data management.
• Strong communication and skills in Microsoft Office applications and ICT tools.

c. Executive Officer

Similarly, Applicants should possess:

• National Certificate in Education (NCE) or an equivalent qualification.
• Basic computer knowledge 
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision.
