Main Responsibilities:-

- Designing and implementing research studies such as needs assessments, baseline, midline, and endline evaluations and others.
- An also the role the involves managing data systems, analyzing complex datasets, and generating actionable, good insights to support program decision-making and performance improvement.

Purpose of the job:-
• The main purpose of the Research and Data Specialist/ Consultant position is to lead high-impact research, advanced data analytics, and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) functions.
• An also a good to driving evidence-based decisions for donor-funded projects and strategic HR initiatives. They will develop MEL (monitoring and Evaluation learning) frameworks.
• To help in analyze complex data sets, and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Analyze, interpret, and visualize data (via dashboards, reports, and predictive models) to enhance project performance and and update decision-making.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning frameworks, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and program goals.
- Conducting rigorous research to support projects aims and achievement, which includes market research or developmental sector analysis (e.g., healthcare and education).
- Identify gaps in data governance and management to improve accuracy of the data efficiency, and scalability of data systems.
- Work with internal teams to translate business/project objectives into actionable data analysis projects and report findings to stakeholders of the organization.
Qualifications:-
Education:-
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree/HND in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Data Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:-
- At least to have 4–8+ years of good experience in research and data analytics, or others related to the position as a development.
- Consulting, or public sector environments.
- An advanced degree such as MSc, MPH, MPP, or PhD is strongly preferred.
- Experience with donor funded programs and sectors like global health, other necessary programs, education, nutrition, or social protection is an added as an experiences.
Skills:-
- To have Experience with world Organizations like WHO or UNICEF- SOLINA, AFENET supported programs.
- Knowledge of disease, and how to prevent and control strategies good in also needed.
- Proficiency in data analysis knowledge, digital data collection tools (ODK collect), and stakeholder management is essential.
